The Oura ring has aspirations of advanced detection of illness signs. For now, it's more of a wellness ring with added temperature sensing. I'm going to bed too late each night time and get up feeling groggy. I peel away my CPAP mask. I put on two silver rings, one on each hand: one is my wedding ring and one is the Oura Herz P1 Smart Ring. It doesn't beep, or blink, or vibrate. I just put on it -- sleeping, showering, on a regular basis. Occasionally, I examine the Oura app on my telephone. It says: This is your readiness score. Or, this is how you slept. I can see my temperature fluctuations through the app. I can see my heart rate. The Oura ring has been around for two years, but I never bought around to sporting one (though I once wore one other health ring by a company called Motiv). I was late to the party. Someone on Fb really useful I try it.
