As I said, these pruning shears are sharp, and so they minimize by issues that my fiskar's pruners won't reduce, they usually reduce simply as properly--if not better--than my felcos (my felco's are most likely a bit dull for the time being, so it's a difficult comparability). I have small fingers ("small" gardening gloves are sometimes too huge for me), and often use the felco's for small hands, however the Truly Garden pruning shears work just as well for me, and they really make it a bit easier to use two arms to chop via thicker/tougher wooden. These pruning shears also work great for my husband, who has larger palms. The one slight downside to these pruning shears is that the locking mechanism is a bit onerous to lock. It's stiff, and i should push a bit to lock the shears. Perhaps a bit of oil would help make them easier to lock. This actually isn't too big of an issue, though, as I typically don't lock them, anyways, as I retailer them in their spiffy sheath! I like that the blade is bigger than on my flecos--this enables me to cut up comfery and different mulches rapidly and easily. Pruning shears are my go-to instrument for nearly every thing from reducing up mulches, to pruning again blackberries, to reducing salmonberries and pruning tree limbs. These shears work wonderfully at all of those duties! All in all, these are Fantastic pruning shears, and you get an enormous bang for you buck with these. If you're making an attempt to determine between felcos or Truly Garden for pruning Wood Ranger Power Shears shop, I might selected Truly Garden. You get the sheath as well as shears which might be comparable to felcos, for almost half the worth.
